"RE-KINDLE: TO IGNITE ANEW"
SANDRA BILAWICH

RE-KINDLE draws from material and images found in our daily life, igniting a new character into physical expression. It suggests the elements that stir fire within our lives; whether it’s finding or reclaiming a passionate life.

A. SANDY DOUGAL
“Burls – the Mystique of the Forest”

"Burls are the medium which I have chosen to use. Because of their very nature of imperfection, they become a creation of character and beauty. Any blemishes to be found are those of my own doing."

AUGUST

August 4 - September 5, 2006
LISA SAMPHIRE
Pattern in Light

These pieces are inspired by my passion of colour and pattern. The murrine rollup process is a rewarding marriage of right brain/left brain thinking. The pieces are influenced from repeated patterns found in Middle Eastern textiles, butterfly wings & the paintings and buildings by Hundertwasser.

SEPTEMBER

September 8 - October 3. 2006
SUZANNE NAIRNE
Convolutions/Digressions
Jewellery and small objects incorporating internal space through folding, hollow forming and classic construction techniques are the focus of "Convolutions".  Suggested in these pieces are contemporary themes of secrecy, duality and privacy.

OCTOBER

October 6 - October 31, 2006

This exhibition will highlight a selection of exhibitor's work that will be part of the Annual Christmas Craft Market taking place November 8 - 12, 2006 under the sails and the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Check out our Christmas Market page for more information.

 NOVEMBER

November 3 - December 5, 2006
NANCY WALKER
Time Flies
Cityscapes crown the rims of earth coloured bowls; whimsical figures circumscribe the sides. Floating above; birds, planes, bugs, radio waves, and street-junk fly high-wire from every chimney like wild bouquets.
