Terry Bigham was born in Prince George, BC and now resides and works in Sechelt. She received her Bachelor of Home Economics from UBC and completed an apprenticeship in loom weaving with Mary Rogers.
She also took a dyeing workshop with Judith McKenzie in 1989. She uses cotton, rayon, silk, some blends, wool and other animal fibres including alpaca, which she dip dyes, tie dyes, or paints on a warp (mainly with Procion MX, but also some acid dyes). She weaves on a four harness Leclerc floor loom.
