Crawford Colquhoun
Ceramics artistCrawford started hand modelling clay animal toothbrush holders in 1986 as an offshoot of another project. They proved very popular and he was fortunate to be accepted into Circle Craft that same year. At one point, he was making more than 50 designs and selling them as far away as Halifax and Santa Fe. He has since cut back and at present supplies only Circle Craft. He still gets a kick out of making them and tries to give each a little personality of its own. Retired from teaching, he also paints and does the odd larger sculpture.
