Suzanne Nairne
Suzanne Nairne is an independent jewelery artist attempting to support herself designing, making and marketing her work. She finds this both immensely fulfilling (the process) and very challenging (earning a living). Suzanne lives in Vancouver, where she was born, after many years in New York.
The truth is I’d love to live in both places. My work is demanding and more or less requires long periods of permanency and yet I long for more opportunity to travel. In short, I am a mass of contradictions which hopefully prove inspirational in my work.
This is a show of jewelery and small objects incorporating internal space through folding, hollow forming and classic construction techniques.
