(Vancouver BC): The Circle Craft Co-Operative Shop & Gallery will present the exhibition "Christmas Market Show Preview" from October 6 through October 31, 2006. The exhibition brings together the work of new and seasoned exhibitors of this year’s Circle Craft Christmas Market under the sails at the Vancouver Exhibition and Convention Centre November 8 through 12, 2006. A selection of objects in a wide range of media, this preview presentation provides an opportunity for a sneak preview before the Christmas Market.

Now in its 33rd year, the Circle Craft Christmas Craft Market attracts some 40,000 people eager to discover the creations of more than 260 artisans from across Canada (50 NEW this year!) — who are individually selected based on talent and diversity. You can find unique gifts that are appreciated as much for their quality and inventiveness as the thoughtfulness behind them.

Ron Smid – Vancouver Island photographer whose work captures Canada’s most extraordinary natural moments on film.
Lonnie Epting – specializing in rock and metal garden sculpture.
Sa Boothroyd – featuring whimsical acrylic and oil paintings.
Eric Renkin – Vancouver Island woodworker creating folk inspired wooden toys.
Adina Gwatkin – maker of handpainted and decorated functional tools.
Nathalie Garant – textile artist making ready to wear women’s clothing with an eclectic selection of reusable recycled fabric.
