"Natural Images"

This exhibit features hand woven tapestries made on the digital jacquard loom. Nature, and particularly bears, has been a source of inspiration for these works.

Nature has been a life force and a source of ideas for me. Sailing on the west coast and skiing in the mountains keeps me in touch with the natural elements, dear to me since childhood and my well of inspiration and creativity.

Daring to take a huge step on to the "next generation" loom has given a big boost to my creativity. I use the possibilities of the digital media, yet still make sure that I maintain a hand woven touch.
