I talk in clay. I have been articulating my ideas by hand building in this 3-dimensional free-for-all essential material for over 30 years. I have traveled from red clay painted with natural pigmented terra sigilatta clay slips to fine white porcelain. Now I play with whimsy, light and shadows. Connection through subtle body language communicated through the expressive lively figures of all shapes and forms creates a conversation, a narrative. We have this in common with the animals.
