I design and hand fabricate jewelry in silver and gold, initially learning my craft from Geoff Swift, my business partler in “The Crab” in Gastown, 1972-76. I am a long-time member of Circle Craft, and was part of the Granville Island artisan community from 1979-2011, selling my work at the Public Market. I have also participated in many juried shows on the art market circuit.
I was a founding member and sat on the board of the Granville Island Day Vendors Association, whose mission was to promote our members’ work and to facilitate communications with CMHC. We were members of the GIBCA, participated in the Island Insight studies, the Granville Island Vision Committee, and we negotiated with CMHC to upgrade the adjudication process. By nature I am co-operative and I would like to give something back to the community.
